Hi there! I am Somerby Jones. I grew up in rural Massachusetts which gives me a love for all things New England and an appreciation for the changing of the seasons. It is from this appreciation of beauty in nature that I draw inspiration for my photographs. 

I started photography as a teenager exploring the wonders of film and the darkroom, shooting 35mm black & white film. I continued to love shooting with film and developing my own photographs throughout my teen years and into college. I attended college, traveled, and after following a traditional post college career path, I decided instead I wanted a more creative career and to really pursue my love of photography. I attended an intensive 2 year photography program, graduated, and hit the ground running shooting all the things I love from product, lifestyle, food & interiors to weddings.

In 2019, my business evolved and I am now working closely with small locally owned businesses to create consistent curated content and to visually represent brands across their social media and e-commerce platforms.

I am available for projects big and small and often can’t believe I get to do what I love! I always have a camera with me and am noticing the moments around me.
