Kat and Scott's summer brunch wedding at the Sturbridge Publick House was glowing perfection. The two married in the meadow with just their closest friends and family under the big old tree. Scott & Kat were able to sneak off with me just following the ceremony to take photos in the meadow and by the big red barn. I love the rustic nature of the grounds at the Publick House. Each time I shoot there I try and make it feel personal and different for each couple. I loved the way Kat's bold red lip matched the red in her bouquet and Scott's tie. Kat & Scott and all their guests got to relax and enjoy a wonderful brunch followed by some dancing and fun. 

On a private estate in Connecticut, on a beautiful fall day, with a close group of family and friends, Chris & Christa were married...and I cried!! Truth be told, I have been to a whole lotta weddings and very rarely do I get emotional. I am focused on getting the shots and making beautiful images more than anything. I too get caught up in the day, just in a different way, obviously visually.  This was a rare and unique wedding from beginning to end and I could not help but feel so honored to be a part of such a genuine display of love. 

It was a rainy day...I know all my couples want the most beautiful, slightly sunny, perfect temperature wedding day, but this dreary day WAS perfect for Leah and Tristan's cozy restaurant wedding! I absolutely loved shooting at Loyal Nine in Cambridge; it was incredibly charming and just outside across the train tracks was this patch of urban beauty that was perfect for portraits.

It is well known that Vermont is one of my favorite places and I was so excited to get back up there for Larisa and Dom's Lake Champlain wedding! On the beautiful grounds of the Shore Acres Inn Larisa & Dom said their heartfelt vows. With the lake behind them, the sun shining and all in all the most gorgeous summer day, this was easily one of my favorite summer weddings. 

Wedding days can certainly throw me a curveball or too. It was a beautiful Vermont summer day when I arrived at the West Mountain Inn for Merli & Sean's wedding. The ceremony was set to be outside, overlooking the mountains, surrounded by the gorgeous setting of the venue. The weather gods shined down for the ceremony, but threatened us from afar with thunder just as we wrapped up. With the clouds and threat getting nearer, it was time for portraits of Merli and Sean. We climbed in a car, the rain started coming down...harder & harder.

There are some venues that we as wedding photographers cannot wait to get our hands on. For me it was Glen Magna Farms. So when Melissa & Doug told me that is where they would be getting married I was super excited! These two sweethearts from New England, living in Cali now did am amazing job of blending Old Hollywood glamour with New England charm!!

As I drove up to Vermont for Alex & Tucker's wedding, it was raining, and I mean the pouring kind. I was hopefully, with fingers crossed that the rain would break and their outdoor barn wedding would happen as planned. Plus, I was excited as I always am to be in Vermont in August.

What a gorgeous day it was for Alyssa & Tom's wedding, it was sheer perfection!! I loved the later ceremony, it allowed for a relaxed start to the day and we were able to take full advantage of the beautiful light and grounds at The Villa. These two are also the sweetest couple, having met in high school, they are now both teachers at the high school, doesn't get much better than that! I had an amazing time with Alyssa & Tom.

On the most perfect July summer day, I joined Ben & Kristin at the Publick House for their wedding. It was adorable, as Kristin got her hair and makeup done, Ben sent several special gifts up to her room, he is a true gentlemen. I could tell Kristin was getting excited to see Ben and finally she walked down the isle and when she met him there, I don't know that anyone else could have caught it, but I saw him whisper to her, "you look beautiful".  These two truly adore one another and it was evident all day long.

I met Andrew & Sam on the beach, but as it was a stunning summer night, everyone was out soaking up the sun. We decided it was much too crowded for photos, so we made the best decision ever and headed over to Halibut State Park
