It’s true, I still shoot weddings! I shoot a select number of weddings each season. My focus is on documenting my couples wedding day, capturing the special moments and details, with an emphasis on creative, natural, and timeless portraits. Each wedding and couple I shoot is unique and I love to play to the natural beauty of the couple and their location. I work with all types of couples, but mostly those planning vintage, DIY, often rustic, but always genuinely unique weddings. I'd love to hear more about your wedding, send me an email and let's chat wedding!

Katrina & Jeff, Smith Barn at Brooksby Farm Wedding

Somerby Jones November 7, 2014

The fall day was unusually warm for Kat and Jeff's wedding, but it was perfect. There is no denying I love a good rustic barn wedding and this one was no exception. The day of Kat and Jeff's wedding, the sun was shining, the bride was looking gorgeous and the groom handsome. Their portraits are amazing, I mean with a location like Smith Barn, you can't really go wrong, everywhere you turn there is a photo opportunity from the fields, to the stonewalls, to the apple orchard and of course the quintessential red of the buildings. I loved all the fall touches, apple cider donuts, lawn games and an Elvis impersonator, oh that's not fall is it, but what a fun and unique touch! Kat and Jeff were so lovely to photograph and their family and friends were welcoming and fun all night long. Thanks for having me along for one of my favorite fall wedding thus far!
