It’s true, I still shoot weddings! I shoot a select number of weddings each season. My focus is on documenting my couples wedding day, capturing the special moments and details, with an emphasis on creative, natural, and timeless portraits. Each wedding and couple I shoot is unique and I love to play to the natural beauty of the couple and their location. I work with all types of couples, but mostly those planning vintage, DIY, often rustic, but always genuinely unique weddings. I'd love to hear more about your wedding, send me an email and let's chat wedding!

Trish & Matt, The Barn at Gibbet Hill

Somerby Jones March 18, 2015

How do you survive the second blizzard of the winter? With an amazing bride and groom at their wonderful winter wedding! In February when we got our second blizzard, I didn't spend the day sipping hot chocolate with cabin fever, instead, I got to spend the day with Trish and Matt at Gibbet Hill for a sweet, cozy and fun wedding day. Trish and Matt could have easily been flustered by the snow, but instead being some of the nicest people, they embraced the day, let it be about their love, spending time with their family and having one great party. I have to mention their band, Young Love and The Thrills because they were nothing sort of amazing. Thanks to Trish and Matt for once again letting my do what I love and having a great time doing it.
