It’s true, I still shoot weddings! I shoot a select number of weddings each season. My focus is on documenting my couples wedding day, capturing the special moments and details, with an emphasis on creative, natural, and timeless portraits. Each wedding and couple I shoot is unique and I love to play to the natural beauty of the couple and their location. I work with all types of couples, but mostly those planning vintage, DIY, often rustic, but always genuinely unique weddings. I'd love to hear more about your wedding, send me an email and let's chat wedding!

Kelly & Alex, The Lyman Estate

Somerby Jones July 22, 2015

It was one hot day in May for Kelly and Alex's wedding, one of those fluke 90 degree days in May. Weather aside, Kelly and Alex were ready to tie the knot with their closest family and friends at The Lyman Estate in Waltham; a beautiful historic home that made for an incredible backdrop for photographs. Kelly was stunning in her ivory and lace dress! Ready to see eachother for a first look, Kelly and Alex did great in the heat and let me take them around the estate grounds for some truly stunning portraits. With all their family and friends close by, Kelly and Alex were married in a lovely ceremony followed by a casual and fun reception. The pops of pink, coral, gold and white were the lovliest of details. Friends and family were treated to the sweetest slideshow of the couple throuh the years and the speeches were incredibly heartfelt. Especially when Alex thanked his family for all their love and support; hardly a dry eye in the house.

A day filled with so much love and happiness sure did beat the heat and I cannot thank Alex and Kelly enough for being great sports and powering through, it made for one gorgeous wedding!
